1:1 Sen Nursery Assistant

Leeds, United Kingdom Prospero Teaching Full time

A lovely primary school based in Leeds are seeking a 1:1 SEN Nursery Assistant to support a pupil during lesson times.

The role will be full time (30 hours per week) and is to start in January 2023 for at least 2 terms.
- Have previous experience supporting teaching and learning or supporting pupils
- Have good knowledge of SEN Needs particularly at primary age
- Be confident to deliver activities 1 to 1 and in a small group basis
- Have a DBS on the update service

Your responsibilities will include:

- Nursery room and individual support
- Organisation of resources and classroom aids
- Engaging pupils into their learning
- Supporting behaviour and emotional support through activities and creating a close relationship
- Some break/lunch time supervision
