QED are proud to be representing a regional law firm who are looking for a legal cashier to join their team in their Darlington office.

Duties include:

- Providing full support to the head of finance to ensure compliance with the solicitors accounts rules, AML regulations and VAT requirements
- Understanding and adhering to the firms internal procedures
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Bill processing
- Checking and processing banking
- Issuing outgoing cheques
- Processing outgoing BACS/CHAPS payments
- Taking card payments from clients
- Assisting with credit card procedures
- Assisting with petty cash handling

Someone with experience within legal finance would be desirable but not essential.
