Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are recruiting for a Housing Lawyer on a contract basis. Please find below further details regarding the vacancy and the person specification.

**ROLE**:Housing Lawyer
**LOCATION**: North London
**RATE**: £40.00 to £46.50 per hour
**CONTRACT**: 3 month ongoing, 36 hours per week

**The Role**
- To progress a full caseload of housing law matters through to completion
- Matters will predominantly be Housing Disrepair matters but may also include other areas such as homelessness, injunctions and possession claims
- Working closely with internal client department to deliver excellent client care

**The Person**
- A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 2 years' PQE
- To have 2 years'+ worth of Housing Disrepair working experience
- Previous local authority working experience would be highly desirable for this role
- Good experience of attending court and general litigation experience
