Centrica Energy Marketing & Trading (EM&T) is the trading arm of Centrica. We trade gas, power and LNG and provide the route to market for our upstream and power generation operations.

The PA / Team Assistant will provide support to Centrica's Energy Market and Trading (EM&T) leadership team members and undertake all duties to ensure the smooth running of the EM&T Leadership Team Office. The role holder will have a high level of professional discretion, tact and integrity due to the frequency of senior level internal and external contact and regular exposure to confidential data.

The role holder will also demonstrate a high level of initiative as they will work both with the EM&T LT members but also independently with only general guidance. The role holder will be required to work from the Company’s offices based in London (near to Marble Arch) 3 days per week.

**Role accountabilities**:

- Provide an effective and efficient support service to EM&T leadership team members
- Perform complex and ever changing diary management working with different time zones
- Arrange international and local travel: flights, hotels and detailed travel itineraries and end-to-end seamless schedules
- Collation of papers and documents required for meetings to ensure full preparedness for all meetings/appointments
- Processing of purchase orders and following up on any queries relating to the purchase order / payment process
- Assist in maintaining integrity and accuracy of EM&T distribution lists, adding new starters, removing leavers
- Contribute to other shared tasks requested by other team assistants and by the EM&T MD EA
- Provide cover to other Team Assistants during any sick leave and vacation times.

- Experience of providing administrative support in a complex and fast paced commercial environment
- Ability to work pro-actively and independently with confidence
- Assertive, resilient and able to work well with strong personalities, strong emotional resilience
- Excellent communicator; able to liaise effectively with senior executives
- Team player who is comfortable working in a larger, team environment
- High level of confidentiality and initiative
- Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Highly organised, able to prioritise and forward plan and remain calm under pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written) with a pleasant, professional manner
- A self-motivated individual with the ability to work alone under minimum supervision and direction
- Flexibility in working hours
- IT skills - Advanced Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Proficiency within Workday would be an advantage.
