**What you’ll be doing**

You’ll be working as part of a team which communicates with all business partners to keep potential streetworks liability to a minimum whilst delivering a good customer journey. Key responsibilities will include:

- Collating permit information for those that have expired against the jobs ready for closing, prioritising workload and ensuring all expired permits are closed within the times scales of the NRSWA
- Validating the information provided by the use of SWIMs, google and gis, making sure the patch data is correct and the site is clear
- Liaising with the reinstatement department / TM departments to prevent apparatus left on site longer than necessary
- Registering the data to comply with the Highway Authorities noticing or permit scheme
- Collating and reviewing the permits that are due to expire, investigating and updating accordingly, keeping in line with the Highway Authorities Permit / Noticing Scheme and advising planners of any works requiring re-plan
- Reviewing all comments, PMR/Aiv’s received from the HA action and respond accordingly
- Dealing with any telephone enquiries
- Providing R&M support to field operatives, assisting in permit changes to planned works when permit variations are required and advising where necessary
- Supporting R&M supervisor to any permitting queries, adjusting permits where required
- Requesting and liaising with the Local Authority to request any permit extension
- Raising and investigating every defect failure issued from the DMT Team and allocate for inspection for both R&M and Developer Services
- Processing inspectors findings and either arrange a JSI diary appointment accordingly or inform HA of defect acceptance and raise work order for remedials
- Reviewing and investigating the temp reinstatements and self defects, creating work order and plan
- Perform initial desktop enablement and identifying the required notice and Streetworks requirement
- Reacting to 2hr / 4hr defect and communicating to the business for both R&M and Developer Services, raising works order, ensuring completed with the timescales and advising TW DMT
- Planning work for field resources and scheduling work where appropriate, ensuring job details sufficient so field team is able to complete activity, also ensuring material is available
- Raising and managing the Notices/Permits and closing permits on completed works, advising TW DMT of completion
- Reviewing backlog

**What you should bring to the role**
- An understanding of Street-works regulations, as well as a technical understanding of reinstatement and water distribution network
- An understanding of Traffic Management
- Previous customer service experience
- Competent in the use of SAP, Microsoft Office 2010, Insight & GIS
- Ability to actively manage field teams and be assertive if required, with excellent communication skills
