**The Role & Responsibilities**:

- Develop and enhance TML’s anti-financial crime framework, policies, and procedures, in line with external regulatory and legal standards and the company’s risk management framework
- Support the Financial Crime Advisory Manager in producing regular and relevant financial crime reporting to enable Governance committees and the Board to provide appropriate oversight and challenge of the company’s framework and controls
- Build strong internal stakeholder relationships to ensure effective compliance and implementation of the anti-financial crime framework
- Deliver the anti-financial crime framework with risk-based controls, as applicable, to the different parts of the business
- Work closely with the Compliance and Risk functions to represent financial crime and deliver key company projects to meet regulatory or business requirements
- Liaise and cooperate with Anti-Financial Crime colleagues in other Operating Companies to achieve best practice and compliance with Group policies & procedures
- Implement horizon scanning process which considers external financial crime risks and regulatory developments and then being able to implement controls or change where required
- Deputise for Financial Crime Advisory Manager where required and be comfortable reporting upwards to Head of Financial Crime and MLRO where required

**The Person**:

- Subject matter expertise across all areas of fraud and financial crime, including excellent knowledge of the UK financial crime legislative and regulatory environment
- Ability to make clear decisions on complex financial crime scenarios
- Collaborative approach to business relationship management, proactively sharing “what works best” with others across the organisation
- Excellent knowledge of industry best practice, including JMLSG
- Experience of creating and implementing Customer and Firm level risk assessments
- Experience of being able to analyse trends or data relating to financial crime would be an advantage
- Strong team player, willing to step in and support the team and colleagues when required
- ICA qualification or equivalent, or currently studying towards, is desirable
