**QHSE Advisor**

You will work within a small team, however being required to manage and control your own workload is essential. You will be required to control all quality, environmental, health & safety operations across the business.

**Objectives**:

- Responsible for the entire QHSE requirements across the business
- Manage Quality Inspection (mainly for vendor part control/on-site production)
- Responsible for completion and implementation of ISO standards and compliance
- Manage and maintain all accreditations and QHSE systems

**Main Duties**:

- To manage all QHSE requirements across the business
- To control accreditation system requirements (ISO etc) and to liase with any governing body
- To ensure compliance of relevant Standards are implemented consistently throughout
- To ensure a safe and high standard of safety provision
- To create, implement and distribute official QHSE documents
- Identify, drive and support new/existing QHSE actions
- To conduct site inductions for new members of staff
- To carry out accident / incident investigations
- To perform vendor appraisals regularly using accreditation scoring system for QHSE audits
- To report to Managing Director regularly with any QHSE legislation updates
- To host monthly QHSE management meetings with team, reporting any issues
- To be responsible for the creation, retention and disposal of official documents within your remit
- Work alongside the Managing Director and team to prepare commercial tenders/contracts, meeting timelines and planning goals are achieved
- Ensure a minimum standard of QHSE is implemented throughout the business, with continual objectives for improvement

**Requirements, Desirables and Essentials**:
**Training, Education & Experience**:

- Understanding Health, Safety and Environmental legislation - essential
- Experience within a similar position - essential
- Knowledge of ISO Standards - desirable
- LSS Knowledge - desirable but not essential
- Experience within auditing - desirable
- NEBOSH certifications - desirable but not essential
- Experience in Quality Procedures
- Experience of COSHH
- Experience of ISO Standards (ISO 9001; 14001; 45001)

**Skills**:

- Excellent literacy skills
- Ability to work with budgets
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of KPI reporting (other general reports)
