We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will lead our new Link Volunteering service which enables volunteers to provide one-to-one support to people living with a diagnosis, whilst also supporting our volunteer-led local support groups.

Creating an inclusive volunteer recruitment campaign, you will promote it widely across the UK, developing group capacity, effectiveness and succession planning, including establishing new support groups.

A key element of your role will be building relationships to better support and encourage volunteers. You will also ensure volunteers receive induction and further training to equip them for their volunteering responsibilities.

**Additionally, you will**:

- Track volunteer appointments and ensure reports are submitted
- Provide data insights and monitor the regional support volunteer programme
- Undertake regular evaluations to ensure volunteers feel supported and valued

Please note, this role will involve travel across the UK.

About You

**To be considered as a Volunteer Coordinator, you will need**:

- Experience within a volunteering role, specifically recruiting and supporting volunteers
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices
- The ability to analyse data and produce reports
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
