Clayton Engineering Limited specialise in the design and manufacture of launch and recovery equipment for lifeboats. Recently acquired by the **RNLI** we support them to **save lives at sea** by manufacturing **high quality equipment** and sustaining its life in service. Our vehicles are often featured on the BBC TV Program 'Saving Lives at Sea', and can be seen at many of the RNLI Boathouses across the country.

The company has a 7 acre site based in **Knighton** in **Mid Wales** on the **Powys** / **Shropshire** / **Herefordshire** border. Easily commutable from Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Leominster or Hereford.

An opportunity has arisen for a Tech Admin/Finance Administrator to join our Team on a permanent basis. The role includes a range of administration tasks to support the non-production areas of the company including HR, Finance, Technical Admin and Health & Safety.

We offer a competitive salary, dependent on experience. 39 hours per week, 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm on Friday (with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break each day). You will start with 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata).

**Key Responsibilities**
- **HR**:

- assist HR Manager with processing of timesheets, posting labour on ERP system, maintaining attendance records, processing holiday requests and updating training records.
- **Finance**:

- assist Finance Manager with processing of purchase invoices and entry onto ERP system, checking unfinalized transactions reports, processing and consolidation of statements, checking aged creditors reports, liaising with GI for incomplete Goods Receipts, entering post book entries onto ERP system.
- **Health & Safety / Maintenance - **assist with update and maintenance of spreadsheets and documentation, including those associated with ladder inspections, PAT testing, risk assessments, COSHH and other general H&S and maintenance administration.
- **Technical Admin - **processing of OM / documentation edits and update of index. Update KPI information on Team Boards. Assist with other general administration tasks including creation of process flow charts, design work associated with leaflets, flyers, notices & signs, Company communications and social media.
- **Quality -** assist lead auditor with associated administration, attend management review meetings and take minutes.
- Assist other areas of the Company with additional admin activities as required to support the business.
- Work responsibly and in compliance with the company policies, procedures and terms of employment.

**Attributes**
- Excellent IT skills, including the ability to use Word, Excel & Outlook.

**Experience/Qualifications desired**
- Previous experience of using ERP system
- MS Office Suite
- Strong results in Core GSCE’s
