HSB Technical is currently looking for an experienced Lifting Advisor for a busy marine company based in Southampton

Requirements & Responsibilities
- Advising on all Lifting Operations across sites, also offering advise and support to the crane Supervisors
- Assist and help with the creation and maintenance of lift plans
- Be companies Appointed person for all lifting operations

Skills & Knowledge & Attributes;
- Knowledge of the marine industry
- Understanding of current Health and Safety legislation
- Knowledge of BS/7121 code of practice for safe use of cranes
- Must have worked with overhead gantry cranes
- Experience with mobile cranes is desirable
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Prioritise tasks in an ever changing environment

Other Requirements
- Full drivers licence valid in the UK
- Must be qualified as an Appointed person for lifting operations
- Be able to work on won initiative, keen to learn new competencies
- Able to travel from site to site
