**JOB DESCRIPTION - The UK Military School Limited**

**Job Title**: Course Tutor / Instructor

**Reporting to**: Company Director

**Main Purpose of position**:
To deliver UK Military School projects to Primary Schools across The North West Region and deliver and support schools to ensure that their learners achieve their targeted expected outcomes from our training each week.

**Duties**:

- to deliver high quality teaching and learning to a range of learners in different environments
- to carry out associated organisational and administrative work.
- to prepare teaching and learning activities.
- to promote and monitor the highest standards of personal development, behaviour and welfare to students throughout the training projects delivered.
- to provide cover for others with similar posts as required.
- Other reasonable duties within the job holder’s capabilities.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Attributes** **Essential**
- Relevant Teaching / Training Qualification and or willingness to work towards and achieve within two years
- Industry Experience within the Armed Forces and has achieved promotion to at least a Senior Non Commissioned Officer.
- Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy or GCSE English & Maths C or above
- Industry experience within the Education Sector

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

- Teaching: 2 years (preferred)
- Military: 4 years (required)
