We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solar PV and Heating Surveyor to join our team. As a Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in assessing properties for the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and heating solutions. Your responsibilities will include conducting on-site surveys, gathering relevant data, and providing accurate assessments to support the design and installation process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct on-site surveys to assess properties for the feasibility of solar PV and heating system installations.
- Gather and analyze relevant data, including roof orientation, shading, structural integrity, and electrical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure accurate system sizing and placement.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to optimize energy efficiency and system performance.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain survey findings, project requirements, and potential benefits.
- Prepare comprehensive survey reports detailing site assessments, technical specifications, and proposed solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to solar PV and heating technologies.
- Coordinate with project managers and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to surveys, proposals, and client interactions.
- Uphold safety standards and protocols throughout the surveying process.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in solar PV and/or heating system installation, design, or surveying preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret architectural drawings, electrical schematics, and other technical documents.
- Proficiency in surveying tools and techniques, including handheld devices, GPS, and digital mapping software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in data collection and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards governing solar PV and heating installations.
- Commitment to environmental sustainability and renewable energy initiatives.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
