**KYC Subject Matter Expert**
**Northampton**

As a Barclays Know Your Customer (KYC) Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be working as part of Barclays Payments Merchant Services (BPMS) who are a Voice & Back Office processing team. Within this role, you will act and lead as a specialist member of the refresh team specialising in obtaining, completing and maintaining all Regulatory KYC documentation for our Clients in accordance with regulations. This role is high value where you will offer business critical KYC technical assistance.

**What will you be doing?**
- Working closely with other KYC Managers to support KYC Leadership in delivering an outstanding performance across the team
- Providing End to End dedicated and robust specialist KYC expertise throughout the Onboarding and Refresh Process
- Working closely with other teams & functions to consistently deliver a Consistently Excellent Client experience
- Ensuring colleagues have complete and solid grasp of technical changes and the impacts associated with them
- Troubleshooting problems and UAT as required
- Building and maintaining relationship building across our internal and external stakeholders, agreeing best practice /monitoring conformance to key metrics

**What we’re looking for**:

- Excellent communication skills, across all platforms, with the ability to flex styles to the needs of different colleagues, stakeholders and Clients
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience of working with key stakeholder e.g. Financial Crime and Relationship Teams would be beneficial
- Knowledge, solid grasp, and experience of the importance of KYC to the Bank through the various lenses; i.e risk and regulation
- KYC knowledge and experience

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Knowledge of Banking products and services and associated legislation e.g. Code of Banking Practice
- Knowledge of regulatory and risk requirements relating to customers

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff. The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
