Junior Buyer

This well-known food manufacturing company based in West Yorkshire is undergoing expansion to welcome new individuals to the business, who are ambitious and looking for a role to grow and develop in. **Role & Responsibilities as a Junior Buyer**:

- Dealing with all invoice queries from suppliers and resolving this within a timely manner
- Interacting with current suppliers and negotiating with new suppliers
- Reporting to the Head of Procurement and assisting them with a variety of tasks such as; market research/analysis, creating reports for suppliers and registering new supplies on the company system
- Building relationships both internally and externally within the business.
- Inventory and stock control
- Updating and maintaining accurate data on the MRP Systems in correlation with new and existing suppliers.
- Has held one of the following positions Junior Buyer, Buyer, Purchasing Assistant, Buyer Advisor, Buyer Coordinator and Junior Merchandiser.
- Competent with using Microsoft packages such as Excel.
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system experience.
- Have worked in one of the following relevant industries; Food, Drink, FMCG, or Manufacturing.
