Trainee Accountant

We are a firm of Chartered Certified Accountants based in Bicester and Chipping Norton.

We are looking to recruit a Trainee ACCA or AAT Accounts person which could be located in either office.

The role will include learning:

- Preparation of annual Accounts for Partnerships and Sole Traders;
- Preparation of annual Financial Statements for Limited Companies and LLPs;
- Preparation of annual Financial Statements for Charities and Pension Schemes;
- Assistance on audit work relevant to the above;
- Preparation of Tax Computations in respect of Partnerships, LLPs and Sole Traders, which are linked to the above;
- Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships;
- Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns and computations;
- Control of an allocation of clients comprising the above and reporting directly to members of the management team.
- Basic knowledge of Accounts and Taxation is not a necessity but an advantage;
- Be training or would like to train under ACCA, AAT or have some practice experience;
- Having a knowledge of computerised accounts and tax preparation packages or to be familiar with bookkeeping and payroll packages such as Sage, QuickBooks, KashFlow and Xero is not a necessity but an advantage;
- Good communication and people skills;
- A good working knowledge of word and excel.
- Work Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm with a one hour lunch break;
- Receive 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays
- Be entitled to join our Pension Scheme.

ACCA or AAT Study package is available.

Salary will be dependent on experience; applicants seeking a part time position may also be considered.

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
