**Who you’ll be working for**:
The Collegiate Trust exists to improve education in Croydon, Crawley and the surrounding areas for children and young people up to the age of 19. We are building a partnership of academies for all ages which will work collaboratively to deliver ExceptionalEducation For All.

This role is primarily based at Riddlesdown Collegiate and The Quest Academy, with some work taking place in our other schools.

**Duties**:
**You will be responsible for**:

- Providing a wide range of front line technical support to staff and students at all levels, throughout The Academy Trust.
- Assisting in most aspects of first level software, hardware and Windows network support
- Using a flexible approach to problem solving, taking initiative and providing excellent customer service

You will be expected to work with and gain proficiency with these Key systems:

- Microsoft Active Directory
- Windows 10
- Office 365
- Google G Suite
- Apple Macs
- Ruckus WiFi, Ubiquiti WiFi
- Managed printing
- VXRail Cluster
- HyperV Cluster and single hosts
- HP (Aruba) ProCurve switches

**You will need the following skills**:

- Good communications skills
- Good knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365
- Experience with Active Directory and knowledge of DNS and DHCP
- Excellent interpersonal, diagnostic and problem solving skills

**Entry requirements**:
The entry requirements for this Cloud Network Specialist programme are as follows:

- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

**Working week**:
36 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm with 45 minutes for lunch.

**Future prospects**:
92% of QA Apprentices secure full-time employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
