We are looking for the right person to fulfil this dual role within the busy medicines management and patient services teams.

You will spend part of your week working within the medicines management team working as a medicines administrator. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently processing and managing the repeat prescription process alongside other members of the team.

For the remainder of your shifts you will be working within the patient services team working directly with the entire GP Practice team and will be signposting patients with the physical presence of GP's, Paramedics and Nurse Practitioners working closely with you. You will be taking calls from patients, discuss the history with the Clinician and arrange the most appropriate care for the patient.

Full training will be given, but we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and basic computer skills who can demonstrate compassion and a real desire to help our patients and work well within high pressured teams.

Previous telephone experience is essential.

The shift patterns are

Monday 13:30 - 18:30 pm, Tuesday 7:30 - 18:00 (1 hour lunch), Thursday 13:00 - 17:00, Friday 13:00 - 17:00

**Days /shifts non-negotiable**, however there is also the option for an additional shift Wednesday afternoon from 13:00 - 18:30

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 23 per week
