Truss Factory Foreman

**JOB VACANCY: Truss Foreman - Permanent, Redditch Sep23**

**Responsibilities**
- Planning and organising production schedules to ensure orders are delivered on time
- Managing a team of staff including production supervisors
- Ensuring all products meet established quality standards
- Allocating resources across workflows to ensure site is operating to optimum levels of productivity and efficiency
- Offering suggestions for efficiency improvements as part of the overall business strategy
- Enforcing all health and safety compliance and training staff when necessary with support from our H&S officer
- Overseeing the selection and maintenance of production equipment
- Providing regular updates on key milestones and reports for senior management
- Planning of logístical operations in conjunction with the production supervisor

**Location & commitments**
- Permanent
- Redditch
- Minimal travel - may be asked to attend head office in Kettering on occasion
- Proven experience working as a production manager in the manufacturing sector
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety legislation
- Experience managing teams (which include some strong personalities), including onboarding, training and performance management
- Experience using ERP software
- Analytical skills
- A positive outlook and able to navigate high pressure situations with the appropriate support from senior management
