**The Job You’ll Do;**
- To maintain the Health and Safety system across the manufacturing site in accordance with Health & Safety at Work act 1974 and all associated standards.
- To develop Health & Safety training schedule for each department including risk assessments and improved working methods
- To create and update risk assessments to ensure safe working practices.
- To produce COSHH assessments in line with the COSHH Regulations 2002.
- To carry out PUWER assessments on site equipment in line with the PUWER Regulations 1998.
- To report and investigate on all accidents within the factory/offices, maintain the Company's accident report
- To submit RIDDOR reports to the HSE in accordance with legislation.
- To ensure the fulfilment of site statutory compliance such as fire alarm system, L8, etc
- To provide a monthly Health & Safety report on health and safety related matters arising throughout the factory.
- To carry out EHS induction for all new employees/contractors/visitors, adopting a refresher program for the key elements
- To advise site management team and employees, ensuring safest possible working methods are adopted.
- Chair the site health and safety committee, reporting actions and closure in a timely manner
- Oversite of site Permit to Work process, ensuring safe methods of working practices and adherence to relevant legislations.

**About You;**
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience of working in a chemical processing plant/Manufacturing Environment.
- Qualified to a minimum with NEBOSH General Certificate.
- Working knowledge of DSEAR Regulations 2002 and associated ATEX, ALCOP.
- Computer literate, ability to produce EHS specific reports for review.
