Working with a local SEN school in the Uxbridge Area, it's within 15 mins walks of 2 Tube station and Parking is available on site.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure and test new ICT equipment and network systems, including hardware, peripherals, and software according to manufacturer instructions and ensure that they operate to a maximum potential.
- Diagnose and resolve network, software and hardware faults (including peripherals) and perform maintenance repairs and upgrades as required. Liaise with appropriate outside agencies where appropriate.
- Assist the ICT provider in the appropriate deployment of hardware around the school.
- Under the supervision of the IT provider carry out regular housekeeping to ensure the server storage is used effectively.
- Manage staff and student accounts allocation of hardware and software, user space and printer credits.
- Support the use of IT for administration purposes e.g. SIMS, Sage, Classroom Monitor and other Software.
- Provide support for teachers and students in the use of ICT across the curriculum working with them in class and providing technical advice to staff. Set up/prepare classes to use mobile technology.
What you to be successful in this role
- Experience - School IT Technician
- Valid DBS or to be the Update Service
- Extensive knowledge of a range of ICT hardware (e.g., computers, printers, scanners, digital photographic equipment, servers)
