**Job Description**:
**Warehouse/Machine Operative**

Pertemps are recruiting for a permanent full-time warehouse person with machine operation experience on behalf of our successful and well-established client based in Shrewsbury. The successful applicant will be working as part of an experienced warehouse team, responsible for cutting and preparing materials to customer specifications.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you get to work with highly skilled and highly motivated people. In this role, you will get to develop your technical and people skills an exciting position for an individual to enhance existing and learn further skills to become a valued member of a dedicated team.
As part of this varied role, you will be operating cutting and coating machinery including a plate saw, bar saw, guillotine and policy coating, in addition you will be kitting jobs to work orders and be able to have basic machine operating maintenance, be able to actively participate in the 5s programme and regular stock cycle counts.
- Minimum 2 Years in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Good analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in computerised stock systems
- Counterbalance / Multi-Directional Forklift Licence (advantageous)
- Effective verbal and written communication

**2-week Shift Rotation**
- Week 1 & Week 2 - Monday - Friday 6.00am to 2:30pm
- Week 3 & Week 4 - Monday - Friday 12.00pm to 20.30pm

**Remuneration and Benefits**
- A competitive starting salary between £11 & £13 per hour depending on experience
- Quarterly Profit Related bonus scheme
- 29 Days Annual Holiday Entitlement (inc. Bank Holidays)

- Free on-site parking

**Salary**: £22,880-£27,040 Per annum

**Hours**: 40 hours per week
