A successful retail group are looking to recruit an End User Computing Engineer to join their growing team.
**Skills / Environment**
- Providing IT support to colleagues.
- Developing and implementing automation to streamline and improve the quality of IT infrastructure build processes.
- Maintaining patch levels across Windows desktop and server estate.
- Installing, configuring, backing up & recovering desktop deployment tools, patch deployment tools, antivirus tools and desktop remote control tools.
- Monitoring trends in data growth & performance to then propose strategies to accommodate.
- Troubleshooting and resolving IT issues.

**Role Overview**

The role will involve:

- Active participation in the creation of desktop standard images and deployment.
- Planning and recommending enhancements to ensure that desktop management tool capacity meets current and future business requirements in a cost-effective manner.
- Participation in core infrastructure projects to meet pre-defined objectives key duties and responsibilities.
- Proactively looking to improve and add efficiency to current process and exercise judgment in the decision-making process to provide excellent customer experience.
- Ensuring all solutions are documented and successfully transitioned into service.
- Maintaining relationships with key suppliers to ensure continually high levels of service.
