**Maintenance Engineer - NIGHTS**

Permanent

Location: Nottingham

**Salary**: £35,000 (DOE)

Shift Pattern: 5pm - 1.30am (Monday to Friday)

**Main Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer
- **
- The Maintenance Engineers working as a team with the Factory assume responsibility for the maintenance of the full company site: factories, offices, yard and roadways to ensure that business and legislative requirements are fully met.
- The Maintenance Engineers are responsible for ensuring preventative and breakdown maintenance is carried out in an efficient and timely manner such that the factory can achieve the batched production quantities in line with business requirements.
- Machinery availability for preventative maintenance or the setting of breakdown priorities is under the responsibility of the Frame Factory Manager in consultation with the Maintenance Engineers.
- Responsible for ensuring the site and its infrastructure is maintained to an adequate standard to meet legislative requirements in consultation with the Operations Director.
- The Maintenance Engineers are responsible for ensuring that the standard of maintenance is sufficient for production to meet company quality standards. This will require regular fine adjustment of all machinery to accommodate tolerance variations withinthe profile used and machine slippage.
- The Frame Factory Manager reviews and co-ordinates the day-to-day activities of factory maintenance in consultation with the Maintenance Engineers and ensures the effective distribution of maintenance resources available to meet production needs.

**Experience and Skills required
- Must have a sound background in working with pneumatic equipment, mechanical fitting, and tool setting.
- Experience in PLC’s and/or CNC programming would be very welcome.
