PMO Officer

My client is a leading technology strong utilities organisation who are looking for a Smart Metering Programme **PMO Officer**, to support the integrated programme plan. It is an exciting time to join them, as there has never been a better time to join this amazing utilities company

Smart Metering is the new way forward within the organisation - it has the potential to fundamentally transform the relationship between customers and their use of utilities, and to significantly enhance their experience of their business. The role willlead the innovation of how they support the environmental goals, to build a resilient water future, support leakage targets, protect the environment and lower carbon emissions by using water more efficiently.

**Responsibilities for the Smart Metering Programme PMO Officer**:

- Support the delivery of the Smart Meter Programme.
- Manage the risks, issue logs, governance meetings, and programme plans.
- Support the Programme Lead.
- Support in budget spend tracking.
- Excellent knowledge of working in complex projects as a PMO.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with team members and a range of 3rd parties to support this complex initiative.
- Be commercially minded with a good understanding of building Business Cases.
- Design and manage Executive level status reporting and align with wider directorate reporting needs.
- Maintain a clear view of upcoming reporting commitments.
- Work closely with Programme Director to agree messaging and craft well-presented presentation packs.

- Project management certified
