**Vibe Recruit** are currently recruiting for a **Procurement Officer** to work for UK's leading designer & manufacturer of performance metal door systems who are based in the Rumney area of Cardiff.

This role will play an integral part in the purchasing team, supporting and liaising with the wider business departments to ensure materials are ordered and delivered in an efficient, timely manner and any information required is completed to a high standard.

**Working Hours**:Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 2:00pm

**Salary**:Starting at £22,000 per annum

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Develop strong relationships with key suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers
- Evaluating supplier quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers
- Ensuring requisitions are processed in a timely manner
- Following up with suppliers concerning order status and to communicate delivery information with all departments
- Forecast and maintain stock levels to meet current and future demands
- Support Purchasing manager in all key areas
- Prepare and send purchase orders
- Follow up and review product deliveries, with issued purchase order/sales orders, and resolve any discrepancies
- To undertake any other duties as necessary within the Procurement Department

This is role is available with a January start, on a **permanent contract **and would be perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic person to thrive, working within a successful and vibrant team.
