**Tonbridge - own transport required due to location**
**Circa £30,000 pa**

This role, as Junior Perfumer, is joining a bespoke fragrance family organisation, and provides excellent long-term prospects

The role of Junior Perfumer includes:

Developing formulations such as twists, creations, and duplication of fragrances,
- Assisting perfumers in compounding fragrances as well as other tasks needed for project completion (stability tests ),
- Managing the raw material database for new and existing product formulations,
- Performing organoleptic testing of raw materials and fragrances with QC's department,
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized laboratory environment,
- Participating in the olfactive panel of new/current fragrances,- Be familiar with the chemical composition of various essential oil as well as aromatic substances used in perfumery,
- A passion on fragrance, cosmetic and toiletries products,
- Have good organization and communication skills,
- Attention to detail,
- Be able to work in a team environment,
- Possess organoleptic capabilities to evaluate and assess fragrances and raw materials,
- have experience of compounding in a chemical laboratory (1 + year), and experience in a fragrance house.
- Be familiar with fragrances and raw material analysis (GC and GC-MS),

A Bachelor or MSc degree in Perfumery, Chemistry or related field is preferred, although relevant work experience will also be considered
