**Responsibilities**:

- Perform account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Prepare and post journal entries for various financial transactions
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Provide support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- May have to travel to teh care homes occasionally to collect date. Generally one will be expected to actively chase the data from the care home administrators
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and provide analysis as needed

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Proficiency in general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data accurately
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using financial software and MS Excel
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance

This position requires a high level of financial acumen and the ability to work with complex financial data. The Finance Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the organization's financial records. **Salary**: £25,557.00-£26,909.00 per year
