Cross Resourcing are working in partnership with a Scottish based Accountancy Firm to recruit a Senior Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Our client has an established client base made up of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies across Scotland and have been established for over 100 years.

**Salary**
Up to £32,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

**Role Purpose**
Working as part of the Accounting and Business Solutions Team, you will support in preparing management and financial accounts for sole traders, charities, partnerships and limited companies whilst supporting junior members of the team.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Bookkeeping using Quickbooks, Xero and Sage
- Preparing annual accounts for clients
- Carry out examinations on behalf of charities
- Prepare client VAT returns
- Prepare management accounts and liaise with clients to obtain relevant information
- Establish strong working relationships with clients
- Work onsite with clients as and when required
- Escalate and issues ASAP in order to provide 100% client satisfaction

**Key skills**
- **At least 2 years Accounts experience, in practice (Essential)**:

- **HND in Accountancy/Finance related field or AAT/ACCA qualified**
- **Proven advanced accounts preparation skills and experience**:

- **Experience in QuickBooks, Sage and Xero**:

- An analytical mindset with strong numerical skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Effective time management
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise own working if a fast paced environment
- Highly motivated, with excellent problem-solving skills

This is a full-time, permanent role working between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
