Are you a good listener, an excellent coach or someone who works well with young people? Do you have hobbies and interests that could help inspire or engage others? **Fulbridge Social Care** are looking for individuals with a variety of skills to join our team of support workers.
**A day in the life of a Residential Child Care Worker**
- Socialising with our young people and creating fun and engaging activities and home events
- Cooking and support in the kitchen during mealtimes
- Assisting with fantastic days out with our young people
- Complete relevant documentation for the young people you support
- Teaching basic life skills
- Driving to and from school, activities, and appointments
- Support in the community and/or education
- Following all policies and procedures
**About you**
We are looking for people who:
- Are caring and respectful who will enable the people we support to have a high quality of life and make their own decisions
- Are flexible and adaptable who want to go the extra mile if it means making a positive difference to the young peoples lives
- Are enthusiastic with excellent communication skills committed to developing positive working relationships
- Be calm, patient and understanding
- Commit to at least one shift a week and any more is a bonus
- Hold a UK driving licence
- Able to work one or more of the following shifts patterns; 8am - 11pm, 8am - 11pm + sleep, 3pm - 11pm, 3pm - 11pm + sleep, 10pm - 8am
- Casual working can be utilised as an additional income, weekend job or for many of our team, can be used to obtain full-time position in the very near future. We have an array of hours and shifts available._
**Job Types**: Temporary contract, Freelance, Zero hours contract
**Salary**: £11.44-£14.25 per hour
