Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor is required to manage the day-to-day cleaning and housekeeping services of MacLeod House & Lodge.

MacLeod House & Lodge is a five-star, 19-bedroom luxury country house hotel located within the heart of the estate. Featuring opulent furnishings and heritage features, the property offers exceptional resort accommodations for golfers, visitors and guests.

Supporting the MacLeod House & Lodge Manager and working closely with the Head of Operations and Resort Services teams, this post is integral to the day-to-day operations of the resort and requires meticulous attention to detail and the highest standards of fineness and cleanliness.

This is a hands-on housekeeping role that operates on a shift-based system including occasional evening and weekend working in line with the seasonal needs of the business.

**Reports to**: MacLeod House & Lodge Manager

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Undertake daily housekeeping and cleaning activities for all guest rooms and specified public areas
- Support the MacLeod House & Lodge Manager will laundry, amenities, supplies and equipment management
- Ensure guest rooms are immaculate and ready for guest arrivals every day
- Report any missing or damaged items, ensuring they are replaced and repaired
- Comply with Health and Safety and COSHH regulations rules in line with company policie
- Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks when required
- Assist with training and oversight of housekeeping team and external cleaning contractor
- Undertake site-wide housekeeping and cleaning activities, as required by management
- Any activities deemed necessary to support the smooth operation of the business

**Qualifying Criteria**:

- Housekeeping experience, ideally in a four
- or five-star environment
- The position involves the use of estate vehicles to cover all outlets. Therefore, a full, clean driving licence is advantageous
- Meticulous eye for detail and demonstrable commitment to maintaining high standards
- Excellent timing keeping and good organisational skills
- Positive and flexible approach to work including weekend and evening shifts
- Proactive with the ability to work with mínimal supervision
