Maintenance Handyman/woman

Maintenance Handyman/woman required by Diamond Care Homes Group.

40 hours per week

Located in Bacup - Nelson Areas servicing 2 privately owned care homes - Would suit multi-skilled tradesperson with energy and a ‘can do’ attitude. Flexibility is a must.

Must be car owner with full driving license.

Own tools are essential.

Rate of pay is negotiable, depending on experience and will be agreed before a full job offer is made.

The ideal person will be someone who wants to get involved and be an important member of a genuinely caring team ensuring safe healthy living environments for our elderly residents; some of whom are living with dementia.

Satisfactory references and DBS will be required to work with elderly vulnerable people.

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
You will be employed by Diamond care homes and from time to time you will be required to work in other care homes owned by the group.

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
- Basic understanding of electrics
- Basic understanding of plumbing
