Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our team. The Surveyor will be responsible for conducting precise measurements and mapping of land areas to provide data for construction, mapmaking, mining, and other purposes.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries for properties using specialized equipment.
- Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys.
- Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
- Research historical maps, land records, and other relevant information to guide surveys.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction personnel to ensure surveys meet project requirements.
**Skills**:
- Proficiency in using surveying tools such as total stations, GPS equipment, and levels.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
**Preferred Skill**:
- Knowledge of electrical systems in relation to surveying work.
**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: £317.86 per day
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
