**About the role.**

This role will enable you to work across the council’s catering service, ensuring our schools and academies continue to have excellent school meals and the customer visiting our commercial outlets have an enjoyable experience. You will work within a core team within Facilities and Traded Services.

You will provide management support to the Catering Operations Manager whilst being responsible for the day to day administration and operation of the catering contracts. You will support the management team with the implementation of a service improvement plan, ensuring training, audits, recruitment are all in line with Council procedure. You will liaise with all customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction is achieved.

You will require knowledge of Food Safety and Health and Hygiene legislation, with qualifications in Level 3 Food Safety, Level 2 health and Safety. You will have excellent communication skills with a minimum of two years experience in a supervisory role. You will have experience of working in the catering sector and a full driving licence.
