Established and respected in our field for 25 years, McKee’s Country Store and Restaurant, successfully operate a thriving Farm Shop which has become a popular destination and often described as a ‘food emporium’. Our passion and drive throughout is producing our farm produce offering family meals, boasting an extensive delicatessen and a 140-seater Restaurant. McKee’s Country Store and Restaurant is a family run business maintaining 80+ staff members. We Farm - Beef Cattle, Lamb, Poultry and Egg. Food traceability being key to winning our customer fan base.

Our farm shop is seeking for a hardworking and skilled individual to become a member of our baking team. We work in a fast-paced environment, so our bakers will spend most of their time on the go and should be able to work well both independently and in teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Physical strength for lifting mixer bowls and ingredients
- Must be experienced in all aspects (list is not exhaustive):

- Hot plate
- Scones
- Cakes
- Traybakes
- Fresh Cream
- Keep store adequately stocked & order supplies when required
- General housekeeping
- Working to existing recipes
- Monitoring the standard of ingredients
- Preparing & using the ovens and equipment
- Measuring, weighing & using mixers for wet and dry ingredients
- Kneading and shaping the dough

**Hours**

Flexibility available, but usual hours of work:
Monday - Thursday = 0400-1230

Friday = 0300-1030

No Saturday or Sunday working

**Pay**
