**Job Title**:Cover Supervisor (SEMH)

**Location**: Southampton

**Contract Type**: Full-time, Temp to Perm

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join TimePlan and work specifically with students who have SEMH needs. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and supportive atmosphere for our students, ensuring they have access to quality education in a positive and inclusive environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide cover for absent teachers, maintaining continuity in the learning process for students with SEMH needs.
- Support and engage students in their learning, adapting to individual needs and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to implement strategies that address SEMH needs and promote emotional well-being.
- Manage challenging behaviour effectively, using de-escalation techniques and promoting positive behaviour management.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting a sense of belonging and self-worth.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans for students with SEMH needs.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
- A passion for supporting the social, emotional, and mental well-being of students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic educational setting.
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
