Job Title: Lapping Operator

Location: Stonehouse

Pay Range/details: £33,945 including shift allowance

Contract Type: Permanent

Our client are looking for a Lapping Operator who will be accountable for machining and also in process inspection of customer products.

Key Responsibilities - Lapping Operator
- To prepare and machine customers components to meet drawing / specification requirements
- Cleaning of components before Inspection
- In process inspection of products
- Filing and dressing of customer products as per customer requirements
- Responsible for machine operations
- Control of all jigs
- The correct use of company documentation on internal systems
- Responsible for quality of work and level of production

Qualifications & Requirements - Lapping Operator
- Good attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings advantageous
- Experience in Heat Treatment of metals or metal processing advantageous but not essential
