**What you’ll be doing**:
A Kitchen Porter is the backbone of any Kitchen and a truly appreciated asset in ours. You will be in charge of keeping our busy kitchen clean, tidy and safe when you’re at work. You will ensure the kitchen area is cleaned and maintained to the highest standard at all times to include the following:
- Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible
- Collect and wash up pots and pans.
- Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery
- Unload food and equipment deliveries.
- Keep the storeroom organised
- Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised
- Help our Chefs clean down at the end of each service
Progression is something we like to offer at Iford and if it’s something you like too, then we would love to offer you training on basic food prep in the kitchen.
**Where you’ll be working**:
In our thriving café and restaurant. At Iford we approach the serious matter of hospitality with a huge amount of imagination and good humour. You will be part of our team of roughly 10 individuals who are passionate about our incredible café and dining space.
