Qhse Supervisor

**JOB - QHSE Supervisor**
**LOCATION - Near Gloucester**
**TERM- Permanent**
**SALARY- £28,000-£32,000 per annum dependent on experience**
My client is a manufacturing organisation that supplies to a variety of different industries. They are looking for a permanent QHSE Lead to join their team on a permanent basis.
- Extensive experience in a QHSE role
- Experience coordinating and managing a team
- Engineering background
- Strategic and methodical mindset
- Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001
- Ensuring compliance to quality standards and procedures
- Self-motivated and adaptable

**The QHSE Lead role will involve**:

- Being responsible for ensuring a safe and environmentally conscious workplace
- Ensuring compliance to company Health & Safety requirements
- Carrying out risk assessments and root cause analysis
- Liaising with a variety of departments
- Ensuring staff comply to all policies and procedures
- Conducting health, safety, and environmental audits
- Training and mentoring staff
