**About this client/child**:
Danielle aged 15 is a very bright and capable young lady with a wicked sense of humour She enjoys socialising with friends and is usually busy with her personal trainer and tutoring. Danielle has just started Sixth Form. Danelle has cerebral palsy and requiressome assistance with her personal care. She uses a powerchair out in the community; at home she mobilises predominantly on high knees. Danielle communicates verbally and eats orally but requires assistance with cutting up food.

**Overview of role**:
As Danielle’s Support Worker you will be assisting with both her morning and after-school routines which will include school drop-offs and pick-ups. After school, Danielle has quite an active life so you will play a part in taking her to various activities/appointmentsand enabling her to socialise with friends and visiting her tutor and personal trainer.There will be a handover period, and you will receive training by therapists and all mandatory training before commencing.

**Who this job would suit**:
This role will suit a female* Support Worker who is kind, reliable and pro-active. Personality is the most important factor for this role. Danielle has a wicked sense humour and needs someone lively, positive, proactive, open-minded willing to learn. Priorexperience with a physical disability would be a bonus but certainly not essential.
