**Salary**: £27,486 - £41,467 _(pro rata per annum)_

Contract Type: Fixed Term Maternity Cover _(12months)_

Hours: 22.2 hours per week

Location: Ellesmere Port Campus

We are seeking a Lecturer in ESOL to join our team at our Ellesmere Port Campus.

This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and inspiring Lecturer to provide learners with an outstanding learning experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and teach on a range of ESOL courses;
- Train and assess learners in the College environment; _and_
- Keep accurate records for learners’ progress in College.

**Key Person Specification Requirements**:

- Degree _(or equivalent)_ in relevant discipline;
- PGCE or commitment to work towards;
- GCSE Grade C _(4/5)_ in English and Maths;
- Proven experience of teaching ESOL;
- Knowledge and understanding of awarding body standards and requirements;
- Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment;
- Up-to-date occupational experience; _and_
- Enhanced DBS check.
