**Solar Roofer - Overview**

Low Carbon Recruitment Ltd are currently working with one of the largest Solar PV installation companies who are seeking a permanent Roofer to carry out Solar PV installations in the local area. The company have been established since 2005 years and have completed over 50,000 Solar PV Installs on Domestic Properties. As such their scheduling and organisation is second to none.

Within the role, you will work in a two man team alongside an experienced Electrician, installing Solar PV systems on private domestic properties within the local area. You will work as a team to complete installations, installing and fixing the panels and running the cables through, which the electrician will then wire up and commission the system. Most systems range between 6-20 panels and some jobs will have a battery storage system in addition.

The company have been installing PV systems for over 10 years and have 50+ crews working nationwide. They aim to make each install as simple as possible for their Engineers. All sites are technically surveyed prior to the installation starting, all scaffolding and required infrastructure will be set up prior to the teams arrival, and all materials are delivered to site with some surplus to keep as spares/ van stock.

You will operate within a 2 hour (maximum) radius of your location with all travel time paid. The role is mobile with a company van and fuel card provided and therefore it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence.

**Solar Roofer - Requirements**
- 2+ years experience on domestic roofing works
- Previous experience installing Solar Panels (Desired)
- Experience working on all types of roof including slate, tiled and rosemary
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willingness to work in a team

**Solar Roofer - Salary and Remuneration**
- Salary of £35,000 - £37,000
- Installer Bonus £250 per week (£13,000 per year)
- Company Van + Fuel Card

- Tool Allowance to upgrade anything they need, buy new tools throughout the year

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per hour
