Assembly Worker

**Job Summary (primary role)**
To assemble all work as allocated by the departmental head. To support the engineering team in the cleaning and examination of parts (pre and post assembly) and to support supply and despatch staff where workloads and/or absence requires such assistance as allocated by the Head of Support Services.
**Principal Duties/Responsibilities**:
- To be responsible for the building/assembly, testing and packaging (where required) of products as allocated by the Head of Support Services from Works Orders or from illustrations/build instructions as supplied.
- To ensure that all necessary documentation is completed on time, is accurate, can be read by others.
- To segregate non-conforming parts and advise the Head of Services of such segregations.
- To notify the Head of Services of any problems occurring during the assembly procedure to be proactive in proposing remedies when problems occur.
- To be responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the workspace, tools and equipment within the assembly environment.
- Encourage good working practice and adherence to paperwork systems to maintain ISO 9001 quality & Health and Safety standards and ensure correct implementation.
- Cultivate good working relationships with other departmental personnel to promote the efficient working of the business.
- To perform any reasonable request from the Management Team
