As an IBM Software Developer Intern, you'll use the latest tools and technologies to deliver state-of-the-art software. You'll be responsible for ensuring that company software components are expertly designed, implemented and tested ready for
integration into IBM's best-of-breed solutions.
We currently have an opening for a Software Developer Intern to join our IBM Security Intelligence Development team in Belfast, developing & testing next generation Security Intelligence solutions, both on-premise and in the Cloud
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
Experience of developing in Java in a Linux environment
Experience of manual and automated testing
English: Fluent
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
Experience of J2EE, Spring, JavaScript, Perl, Python
Knowledge or experience of Cloud based technologies & skills
Database/SQL experience, eg. Postgres
Good understanding of Object Orientated Software Design
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
