Apprentice Technican

- Are you committed to working towards a Level 3 Creative Venue Technician apprenticeship standard?
- Do you have an understanding of the Spa as a Conference and Events venue and knowledge of events held past and present?
- Can you demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to work within the theatre/conference/event environment?

The Spa in Bridlington is seeking two Apprentice Technicians to support the delivery of day to day technical operations. You must be prepared to develop your technical skills and use sound, lighting and audio visual equipment as appropriate and assist in event operations.

You will be:

- Assisting in the delivery of day to day technical operations of the Spa with a particular emphasis on setting up, operating and clearing down of events.
- Assisting in the delivery and operation of staging, sound, lighting and audio visual services in the Spa.
- Working with internal and external users of the Spa to assist and advise them on operation of their events.

The Spa Bridlington is the premier entertainment venue on the Yorkshire Coast. The venue hosts conferences, shows and performances, weddings, events and concerts throughout the year and can cater for up to 3,800 people. This apprenticeship will provide an opportunity to join a dynamic, technical team working a wide variety of Shows, Musicals and events. Working as part of the team it will provide you a great platform to progress and develop your existing skills.

On offer is a salary of £15,102 per year. You will receive high quality training with a mixture of on-and-off the job training and we are looking for someone who can demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to work within this exciting environment and wants to join an award-winning venue.
