Ward Clerk

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team as a Ward Clerk on Kings Mill Hospital’s Stroke Ward.

You will be greeting visitors to the ward, dealing with telephone enquiries, and undertaking other clerical and reception duties on the ward.

The overriding purpose is to support the provision of the highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement.

To ensure accurate and timely collection of patient related data at ward level. This will include patient admissions, transfers and discharges and the tracking of patient case notes, as well as filing in case notes and their general tidiness.

Work in close liaison with Ward Leader, nursing staff and all visitors and multidisciplinary team members who visit the ward.
