KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning
- Organise and oversee the work package creation for the aircraft inputs, planning from start to finish and ensuring clear identification of responsibilities throughout the business.
- Scheduled and un-scheduled aircraft maintenance work package build/assembly including milestones, resource and critical path planning.
- Generation of Preload equipment summary reports including tooling, parts and material call-ups.
- Identification of work content requiring the services of external agencies and sub-contractors
- Detailed review of work content including the identification of complex, safety critical, critical path and any other tasks requiring additional regulatory requirements.
- Improve work processes and highlight any issues to the Planning, Logistics and Stores Manager if unable to rectify by self.
- Work with the Planning, Logistics and Stores Manager to ensure accuracy in Exeter Aerospace’s maintenance plan and slot allocation.
- Ensure the Document Control function is maintained for all inputs.
- Train/Mentor new starters to ensure they are able to fulfil their duties and regulatory requirements.

Commercial Invoicing
- Collation of job charges for all maintenance inputs at Exeter Aerospace and Line stations. To include but not limited to; Fixed price Proposal invoices, interim invoices, Manhours approval (non-cap and cap agreements), Material usage and costing’s, subcontract/3rd Party services, airport fees and miscellaneous charges in preparation for Financial Invoicing.
- Completion of Profitability Summaries to demonstrate profits and areas of improvements for Management review and sign off prior to Financial Invoicing.
- Liaison with Finance to ensure WIP (Work in Progress), work complete and outstanding billing is identified and actioned as appropriate including status updates of open WIP.
- Review of Non routine card authorisations to ensure all items are presented to the Customer for approval and final sign off. Where required ensure hours queries are discussed with Customers or escalated to Management.
- Update of Capacity plan to include planned vs. available labour requirements and advising Management of shortfalls/over manning as required. - Raising of sales orders so all work is tracked and recorded for billing purposes.
- Generation of reports, including but not limited to; Forecast labour/materials revenue, WIP status, manhour reviews and other bespoke reports as requested by the Company.
- Completion of manhour reviews for aircraft inputs as requested by the Management team. - Collation of base maintenance data (Key Performance Indicators) post completion of an input.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

- Ability to perform under pressure and be a self-starter.
- Excellent organisational ability with high level attention to detail and logical approach to task sequencing.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration.
- Experience in using aircraft technical documentation to plan aircraft maintenance with task and ground time estimation.
- Previous Planning experience, with base or line.
- Ability to review tasks to ensure they are adequately planned.
- Ability to converse with all levels of seniority. - An appreciation of Planning requirements and techniques.
- Previous Commercial invoicing experience including collation of job charges for Financial Invoicing.
- Understanding of WIP (Work in Progress) processing.
- Knowledge of Finance functions within an MRO environment.
- Ability to create, generate and issue reports using specific data to enable Management review.
- Willingness to embrace change and to drive improvements within the business.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across various functions (Commercial and Planning) - Ambitious, agile, and honest individual committed to team work and excellence.
- Fluent in English (written & spoken). Right to live and work in the UK
