About the Role:
As the Baby Room Practitioner, you will provide exceptional care and developmental support to babies, ensuring their unique needs are met in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Direct Care**: Provide high-quality care to babies, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.
- **Activity Planning**: Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities that support the developmental milestones of babies.
- **Monitoring and Assessment**: Regularly monitor and assess the progress of each baby, keeping detailed records and sharing updates with parents.
- **Parental Engagement**: Build strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their baby's progress and addressing any concerns.
- **Compliance and Safety**: Maintain full knowledge of current childcare practices and legislation, ensuring the nursery meets all safety and regulatory requirements.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A minimum of Level 3 qualification in childcare
- Previous experience in an early years setting with a focus on working with babies
- Strong understanding of the developmental needs and care of babies
- Up-to-date knowledge of current childcare practices and legislation
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A good sense of humour and excellent people skills

Pay: £11.54 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
