Special Projects and Services is a leading Risk Management and Security company. We provide a range of specialist security and medical services that ensure our clients in the UK and across the Globe stay safe. All SPS activities are managed and overseen from our Operations Centre based in Hereford where we are looking to recruit a new member to join our Operations team as a Response Coordinator.

**Role**:

- Provide monitoring, oversight and coordination of all SPS activities and operations.
- Liaise with our clients, partners, security and medical teams to ensure that our operational outputs are successfully delivered.
- Work closely with the SPS Operations Managers to respond to our client’s requirements for medical and security support.
- Respond to all alarms and notifications on our monitoring platforms and be prepared to provide the initial first response of reassurance, advice and guidance to personnel in distress.
- Implement procedures and protocols in the event of an incident or emergency.
- Ensure that all Operational IT, communications and monitoring equipment is functioning correctly.

**Qualifications / skills**: Essential
- Must be able to confidently use multiple IT and App based communication and information systems.
- Must have strong listening and communication skills.
- Be confident and robust enough to work with little supervision in a fast paced operationally focused team environment.
- Capable of producing short written reports.
- Must have excellent time management skills.

**Experience**: Desirable
- Previous Military, Police, or other Emergency Services experience.
- International NGO experience.
- Previous experience working in an operations centre.
- Experience in providing travel, risk, medical or security advice to individuals or groups.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hereford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
