**About the role**

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer that is inquisitive, open to learning, self-motivated and has a strong foundation in a range of user research methods. As an owner of UX/UI within the team, you will be responsible to drive design that meets both the business and a great user experience. You will be someone who is creative, organized and curious and doesn’t shy away from asking questions.

**The Opportunity**

As part of cross-functional teams, your responsibilities will be to:

- Carry out user research to understand the pain points, needs and gain points of users and customers.
- When appropriate, create user flows and user journeys, information architecture (e.g. navigation)
- Create Wireframe, Mock-ups and clickable prototypes including annotations and design specifications to ease development
- Create and update a UI Kit or Component Library depending on the product being developed. When appropriate facilitate and assist in the creation of a Design System.
- When appropriate, carry out usability tests to validate concepts.
- Validate developed items to ensure they meet the users' needs

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Strong experience working as a UX or UI Designer
- Education in a relevant field (informatics, HCI, Design, Technology) or work experience that can make up for the lack thereof
- Experience with working alongside developers
- You need to demonstrate strong visual language
- Understand Agile vs Waterfall, and have experience in working alongside developers.
- Used to working in Figma
- Good understanding of user research
- It is a bonus if you have basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS, can facilitate workshops, have experience working with component libraries (e.g., AntBlazor), using Storybook / Zeroheight, creating advanced prototypes, and/or making sense of and visualizing data.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

It is essential to be aware of how to ensure feasibility and a portfolio to showcase strong design and problem-solving skills.
