**Join Our Team as a Business Administration Specialist in Basildon**

If you have previous experience in logistics administration or customer services, and possess strong organizational and communication skills, we would love to hear from you.

**Location: Basildon**

**Hours Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30**

**What will you be doing?**
- Facilitate seamless communication between clients and operational functions for administrative tasks.
- Ensure accurate execution of all documents in compliance regulations.
- Complete documentation promptly and accurately, meeting expected time frames.
- Update customer tracking status reports for efficient monitoring.
- Maintain effective communication with customers and team members.
- Proactively organize workflow to meet customer deadlines.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any issues efficiently.
- Attend scheduled customer meetings as required.
- Handle pricing and quotations at branch level.
- Provide support to the Team Leader and Business Service Manager.
- Monitor the performance of designated client base.
- Oversee bookings from stage to successful delivery.
- Provide regular updates on events that may impact the business or customers.
- Ensure documentation compliance according to regulations.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Meet deadlines for financial mid/end-of-month GP reports.

**About You**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

- Previous administration experience in the logistics industry or customer services.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Knowledge of customs processes is desirable.
- Strong coordination skills to manage workload efficiently and support department goals.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Ability to integrate and influence across the business.
- Positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Drive for performance and achieving targets.
- Familiarity with FCL Operating System and ASM (Automated Systems for Customs Data) is desirable.
